Large stalls at the boarding stables provide plenty of room for your horse to roam both inside and outside and to bask in the sun. This beautiful property is private and security gated. Large lighted arena, round training pen, turn-outs, wash racks with hot & cold water, inside cross ties, tack room, lockers and lunch room provide you and your horse with all the conveniences. Barn stalls are 12 x 12 with a 20 outside run. Every stall is fitted with rubber floor mats, bacteria free bedding, ceiling fans, automatic water feeders, automatic fly control and evaporative cooling. Animals are fed twice a day with a high quality hay and a supplemental grain for lunch. All stalls are cleaned daily and maintained to ensure compliance to our high standards. Outside corrals are 24 x 24 with 8 x 12 sun shades. Every pen is fitted with automatic water feeders and metal feed troughs. Flies are controlled with fly predators and stalls are cleaned daily.

Guided trail rides through the canyons of Morongo Valley.  All rides are accompanied by a guide to ensure the safety of our guests and horses.  Coyote Ridge Stables has been in business over 15 years and is owned and operated by Sue Lund and Sally Ellis.  The owners also volunteer their time with the Mounted Search and Rescue.

Known as the largest hunter/jumper event West of the Mississippi. Each January, riders and horses from all over the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Europe arrive in Indio to compete at the Desert Circuit. For several years, the Desert Circuit has attracted over 2000 horses annually. Although the attraction of the warm California winter is undeniable, riders are drawn to the Desert Circuit due to its reputation for world-class show jumping and its high quality facility. The Desert Circuit offers over $1 million in prize money throughout the six-weeks of competition, plus a $150,000 Grand Prix – America’s richest show jumping purse. The Circuit has 12 Grand Prix events, four of which are World Cup Qualifiers. The premier show jumping event is unique in its ability to attract both the top international horses and riders as well as beginning rider seeking to gain valuable experience in the ring under the eye of some of the county’s top judges.

Tahquitz Equestrian Facility is a private horse boarding facility located on 40 acres overlooking the Santa Rosa mountains in Southern Californias beautiful Coachella Valley, owned and operated by Laurie and Scott Cunningham. Tahquitz offers two riding rings, a mile long track and plenty of room to enjoy the Facilitys pastures, horses and spectacular desert scenery. Tahquitz provides service for beginners through advanced AA Circuit hunters, jumpers, dressage and eventing. Tahquitz is also an accredited United States Pony Club Riding Center.

Clandy Lane Equestrian center’s riding programs are tailor-made for each student. Programs for students take into consideration age, size, and previous riding experience. At the equestrian center students learn basic horse care skills and horsemanship, which includes participating in fitting and caring for tack, leading on the halter, stable management and care.
